Creative Writing in the Garden

There are so many cool things to learn in the garden! Mrs. Grant’s class went to the garden to spend time outdoors and get inspiration for our next creative writing assignment. Well we did just that! One of my students walked up and said that he had to show me something very cool! I went to check it out and it was a moth that looks like a hummingbird. One of our students knew just what it was and educated us all about it! He said it was the biggest one he’d ever seen. It was hovering over these big purple flowers and did not pay any attention to all of the student admirers! He just kept on fluttering around from bloom to bloom! What an amazing site! We went inside and did further research on this creature! We’ve decided to write our next creative writing piece from the perspective of this Hummingbird Moth.
