Summer School Gardening Camp
We are in Texas and our school garden thrives in the summer! Each summer, I have volunteered to maintain our garden. This year, I decided to offer a summer camp. I will blog later on how this goes.
I plan to go to the garden to water, harvest and maintain on Mondays so I will offer students an opportunity to join me. It will cost $20/Monday and we will garden for 2 hours. Students must sign up first so I know how many students to plan for.
In our garden growing right now, we have sunflowers, pumpkins, squash, a variety of tomatoes, onions, and peppers!
We have areas that we need to weed of course and we need to water all of the garden beds! There is a lot to do in the summer in the garden and it’s exciting to have kids join us there!
